"Gener" with an International name of "Saolo" left the Philippines with 37 people dead and 33 were injured according to GMA News as of today. Project Noah of DOST

It's been a while since I last post.

And it's been a month since I heard about this innovation made by DOST...
It was called "Project NOAH"

The aim of the system is to predict the weather through the use of their advance technology.
An online program that will tell the visitor the possibilities of rainfall shown in percentage and color coded maps.

I don't really know if this is a big help to the community since we all know that nature is definitely unpredictable.
Philippines is also known for the typhoons that hit the country.
The country could complete the alphabet by naming all the typhoons that visit for the year and they even have back up since at times, there are more or less 30 typhoons that roams around..

Last 2009 we had a typhoon named "ONDOY"
which caused a huge trouble not only in the country but for our neighbors as well..
If this can really predict the situation at least 90%.. Guess that's something that could really help.

Maybe this will be also effective when the internet connection here goes up as well.
Yes, the country is still a kid when it comes to technology and the Internet Connection adds to the problem.

Still, unity is the best solution to all situations.
