"Panatag" Shoal, commonly known as "Scarborough Shoal" and China calls it "Huangyan Island".
What do I know about it? Technically, I know nothing. I'm just a spectator on the news, hearing things and continuous problems that our country faces right now.
So what's in it for me? I don't think this issue could even help me boost anything on my part but I'm just somewhat affected by the fact that some endangered species were being harvested by China-owned ships.
I hope you don't get me wrong, I'm not against China, and to be honest, most of my belongings were made from China so I got nothing against them except for this issue.
I mean, is it always about power? Is it always about money? Why do they still keep on harvesting those endangered species? Specially those Giant Clams, our fellow countrymen were working hard to breed those huge marine inhabitants then they just harvested it without even analyzing the effects that it could do to our environment.
Another thing, if they really own the island, then why don't they accept the request on placing the issue on court. (or whatever they call it) Placing your advance ships won't change a thing, it still doesn't prove that the island belongs to China and unless you accept that request and finalize everything, you won't get the acceptance and freedom you wish.
